TOP CODE QUESTIONS
AT
ATLANTA TECH
NEC UPDATE () (WEDNESDAY) ,2008

What about those code questions you have a hard time with. It's always in the back of your head and you just want to know the right answer. I will have at least 25 code sections that quit a few contractors have a problem with. The other inspector said I had to do it this way, and I'm no sure if he is right. I hate those bubble covers. Do I have to install them? How many screws are required in a lay-in fixture? When are stickers required on receptacles with GFCI protection? Why are two ground rods required now? Is it possible where ground rods are not required? Can I put a 170 amp overcurrent on a #14 AWG conductor? Are you sure all 125 volt single phase circuits that are cord and plug shall be GFCI protected? Does the manufacture of panelboards can allow more than 42 circuits in an enclosure? More, more, more. What's on your mind?

GUYS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU, THIS CLASS WILL KEEP YOU GOING. I THOUGHT WHEN I GAVE THIS CLASS, I WOULD RUN OUT OF QUESTIONS. WRONG! WE HAVE NEVER GOTTEN PASS 12 QUESTIONS. DEBATE AFTER DEBATE. TALK ABOUT KEEPING THE CLASS ALIVE.
