Greetings
Welcome to ED STUBBS.COM “Let the Code Decide”

This web page is for Electrical Inspectors, Electrical Contractors, Electrical Engineers, Electricians, and helpers seeking out information, better understanding and more knowledge of the National Electrical Code. (NEC)

Let the code decide is the correct and only way to enforce the NEC and any local and state codes who are The Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Without the local and state codes and the (NEC), installation of electrical wiring and systems would not meet certain safety standards and life safety standards. Even when the contractors, engineers, and inspectors read the code, they still have conflicts on Code Interpretation, because they are not together on understanding the words. Did you know that there are only a few people that can go above the code? They are you, the owner, and the engineer, not The Authority Having Jurisdiction, unless they have adopted a local or state ordinance. Hard to believe?

There are additional articles that I cover, called Quik Talk / Let the code decide. This is the answer section to questions already asked in some of my classes and seminars and also questions just asked by you on my E-mail. (Go to: edstubbs1@comcast.net) The Quik Talk article will grow and grow through the months, so please copy and paste the sections you wish to keep.

We all want more knowledge of the code. Well, maybe not everyone. Some just want to get the minimum required CEU credit hours just to maintain their state licenses, while the majority, like you, want to gain more knowledge of the code. So, as I receive information on my Gwinnett tech Seminars / Continuing Education and Code Classes, or my Atlanta Tech Seminars / Continuing Education and Code Classes and I will enter them on my web page.

Do you want to know in advanced about Seminars & Continuing Education Classes?
click here and follow the instructions.

For the electricians and apprenticed who want to Take the State Test, I will try to direct you to the right location and the right information for you to take the state test. The State of Georgia requires that you have all application forms returned no later than 60 days before the state test. Other States may differ.

Got any ideas? I've got a few to throw at you. Go to Tips and hints and then tell me what you have to share with everybody.

The last item to research is Books and References. Knowledge is power, but you need books to gain and maintain. This section will grow with time and so will your knowledge.

After you go through my web page, how about giving me some feed back on what you think of the web site and send my web site to others you think could use it. click here
